VOLUNTEER TODAY!
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the VEX Robotics Competition. They are the reason why our students have the opportunity to compete and showcase their incredible work throughout the competition season.
There are various volunteer roles that need to be filled at an event; all of which require NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE. Please consider volunteering for our event, to help give our students the level of competition that they deserve!
Emcee
Proves live commentary during matches on gameplay and keeps the audience excited!
Queuing
Ensure teams are present and ready for their matches at the queuing tables.
Score keeper
Works with the Head Referee to score the matches.
Field Reseter
Reset the field between matches for the next set of players.
Judging
Work in pairs to interview teams and assign awards.

There are various roles that we will need filled throughout the days including: volunteer coordinator, technical support, field managers, crowd control, etc. If there is a role that you are interested in playing that isn’t listed, please contact us so that we can get you assigned to where you want to be!

*** Information to volunteer as a Judge***
Judges must be adults 18 and over, be comfortable asking students a set of the same questions for each team and grading the teams using the grading criteria provided to the judges.
The judges must be able to move around to the pits and stand and observe the teams in action. They must be able to collaborate with their fellow judges and agree to where a team lands in points in each judged category.
Time commitment is both days Saturday, Feb 28 and Sunday, March 1st, 2026 from 7:30am to 3:30pm - Lunch and snacks will be provided.
