Women are Needed in STEM
Currently, there is a lack of women in STEM fields. According to the U.S. Department of Labor women only make up 26% of the workers in All STEM fields. To combat this, REC Foundation created the Girl Powered initiative.
"Girl Powered exists to change that reality by redefining the face of STEM and ensuring that all students see a place for themselves in robotics." -REC Foundation
